About Beth
My Story
Most of my early life was spent on the ice, where as a figure skater I made some lifelong friends and learnt a lot about life.
I studied English and History at London University, Goldsmiths College, before going to Guildford School of Acting to train as an actor and director.
I have spent most of my life in theatre, moving from mainstream to inclusive theatre in 2005, and I am still one of the directors of Prospero Theatre, which I love dearly with all my heart.
My journey in inclusive arts involved drama therapy, mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy and these came together in 2018 when, along with my Mind Fitness partner Andy Barker, I was commissioned by Pearson to write Unlock You. I still work in the field of wellbeing, and stay focused towards helping performers to cope with anxiety and build resilience.

Personal Life
My personal life revolves around my wonderful daughter Jess and her equally wonderful husband Diego, my incredible friends from each era of my life, and my Prospero family.
Madelaine and Prospero
50% of all proceeds from Madelaine will be going to support Prospero, an inclusive theatre company that uses the arts to improve the quality of life for adults and young people with disabilities and mental health challenges.
